I'm looking for a caregiver for my dad. He is 63 years old and physically able, but he is currently struggling with depression and anxiety following the loss of his wife. Because of this, he doesn't feel comfortable living alone right now, so we're looking for some support to help him during this time. Language: Polish, English Location: Mississauga (Cawthra & Lakeshore area) The responsibilities would include: • Preparing dinner and serving it • Driving him to the grocery store and doctor's appointments • Light housekeeping (dishes, tidying up) • Helping him organize things around the house • Providing companionship and conversation • Assisting with taking his medication • Going for walks together To start, this would be about 2-3 times a week for the first couple of weeks, and then transition to Monday-Friday. Shifts would be approximately 2-4 hours at the beginning.
