We are seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver to assist with the care of my father, who is living with dementia. This is a part-time position scheduled every other weekend. Responsibilities include: Providing companionship and supervision Assisting with daily routines (meals, hygiene, dressing as needed) Encouraging safe mobility and engagement in simple activities Light meal preparation and tidying up after meals Ensuring a calm, safe, and supportive environment Ideal candidate: Experience with dementia or senior care preferred Patient, kind, and dependable Comfortable working independently Strong communication skills First Aid/CPR certification is an asset References required Schedule: Every other weekend (specific hours to be discussed) This role is meaningful and requires someone who genuinely enjoys supporting seniors with dignity and respect.
