Contract Length: 6 Months (Extension or FTE Conversion Possible)
Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST (37.5 hours/week)Pay: T4: CAD 34.82 - CAD 40.85 // IC: CAD 40.00- 46.92/hrRESPONSIBILITIES
- Elicit, document, and validate sourcing requirements through stakeholder engagement, market analysis, and business needs assessment.
- Translate business objectives into actionable sourcing strategies, supplier selection processes, and contract negotiation plans.
- Conduct market research, supplier evaluations, and risk assessments to support sourcing decisions and category strategies.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including RFI/RFP processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and maintain sourcing documentation, supplier agreements, and procurement artifacts aligned with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and compliance teams to ensure contracts meet regulatory, risk, and control requirements.
- Support supplier relationship management by monitoring performance, identifying opportunities for value creation, and mitigating risks.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts across sourcing initiatives.
- Prepare clear, concise documentation and reports for stakeholders, including sourcing strategies, business cases, and performance metrics.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with procurement policies, enterprise standards, and regulatory requirements.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract negotiation, preferably within financial services or large enterprise organizations.
- Proven experience delivering sourcing initiatives across vendor management, category management, and contract execution.
- Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle processes, sourcing methodologies, and supplier risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including competitive events (RFI/RFP) and contract negotiations.
- Experience working within regulated environments and collaborating with Legal, Risk, and compliance stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to synthesize insights into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience in large enterprise or regulated financial institutions.
- Familiarity with supplier risk frameworks, third-party risk management, and procurement governance models.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including working with senior leadership.
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline.
