
Payroll Administrator

- Process semi-monthly and biweekly payroll for multiple entities, covering approximately 400 employees.
- Manage payroll operations using Sage and Paymate systems, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
- Collaborate on payroll system transitions and assist with data migration to Paymate.
- Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs) and other required payroll documentation.
- Verify timesheets and hourly payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and BC labour laws.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies with attention to detail.
- Maintain detailed payroll records and generate reports as needed.
- Support benefit administration tasks related to payroll processing.
- Provide training and guidance to team members new to payroll activities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration
- Proficiency in using payroll systems such as Sage and Paymate.
- Strong understanding of British Columbia labour laws and regulations.
- Experience with payroll system implementation and data migration.
- Ability to process ROEs and other relevant payroll documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively address payroll-related concerns.
- Ability to work on-site in Surrey, British Columbia.
