Reporting to the Manager, Regulated Market Services, you’ll investigate and resolve complex site and enrollment issues, ensuring compliance with market rules, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.You’ll work closely with internal partners—including Metering, I&T, Billing & Settlement, and municipal stakeholders—to support billing accuracy, system enhancements, and operational decision making that directly impacts customer experience.Major Responsibilities:Investigate and resolve issues across the enrollment and site life cycle by reviewing data, file flows and root causes to maintain compliance with market rules.Assess and correct crossed metering issues that may involve long timeframes and multiple stakeholders.Work with field crews and internal teams to confirm meter details, validate consumption and review retailer ownership.Initiate and communicate site corrections and ensure all partners understand required file flows and timelines.Maintain strong working knowledge of applicable AUC Rules, ENMAX Distribution Tariff and Code of Conduct.Support testing and validation for RMS system changes, rule updates and system enhancements.Maintain and audit unmetered assets including streetlights, traffic signals and irrigation sites.Collaborate with ENMAX Power teams to align data needs, operational requirements and system dependencies.Recommend and present opportunities for process improvement and automation that improve accuracy, efficiency and reliability.Develop, document and maintain business processes, procedures and knowledge transfer materials to support consistency and knowledge sharing.Education Required:Post-secondary degree with related experience in the electricity or utilities sector.Candidates with a strong mix of education and relevant experience will be considered.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 8 years of related experience in a regulated or utilities environment.Strong knowledge of the Alberta electricity market, including AUC Rules 004 and 021.Advanced proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, Maximo, and Power BI.Solid understanding of rates, billing, and enrollment processes.Experience querying, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions.Utilities experience is considered an asset.Competencies:Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business processes and identify improvement opportunities.Proven ability to support and contribute to process improvements and implementations.Highly self-directed, with the ability to work independently and manage complex issues.Effective problem solving skills, with initiative and sound judgment in resolving issues.ENMAX Values – Safety, Integrity, Accountability, Service, Teamwork, Agility, InnovationDid we mention the ENMAX Advantage?We offer competitive compensation including a comprehensive flexible benefits program, non-downtown location that includes great building amenities such as free onsite fitness facility, onsite massage, onsite child care centre (upon availability, offered from our ENMAX Place location 141 – 50 Ave. SE), free parking and much more.
