We are focused on hiring only those exceptional individuals who value safety in the workplace and remain committed to the collective goal of maintaining our Aecon 'zero injury' culture.ACSI is seeking Industrial Painters to join our industrial team.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
  • Mix paint and coatings according to specifications.
  • Apply paint and coatings using various methods such as spraying, brushing, or rolling.
  • Ensure proper coverage and finish quality.
  • Monitor drying times and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections.
Requirements and Experience
  • CSTS-20 Certificate
  • Fall Protection
  • Experience as a Painter in an industrial construction environment.
  • Proficient in using power tools, hand tools and other equipment related to painting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with painting equipment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work at heights as required.
  • Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
  • Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
