We’re looking for an on-site Executive Assistant, in the manufacturing industry, to provide dedicated, high-level support to the President on the east side of Edmonton.Our client is a well-established organization with a very traditional leadership style and clearly defined expectations. The President values structure, precision, and consistency, and expects his Executive Assistant to manage his day, office, and priorities seamlessly. This role is best suited for someone who takes pride in supporting one executive at a very high standard, is not seeking extensive workplace relationships, and is comfortable working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs exactly as planned.The Executive Assistant role will be responsible for providing dependable, detail-oriented, and anticipatory support to the President.Executive Assistant responsibilities:
  • Manage the President’s calendar, scheduling, and daily agenda
  • Prepare the President’s office each morning, including ensuring computer, systems, and work materials are ready prior to arrival
  • Act as a strict gatekeeper, managing access, calls, emails, and internal requests
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items
  • Prepare board materials and executive presentations (board attendance is not required)
  • Handle confidential correspondence and sensitive documentation
  • Manage expense claims, invoices, and basic financial administration
  • Coordinate travel arrangements when required
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, records, and executive documentation
  • Support social functions and manage event logistics, including ticket coordination
  • Liaise internally on behalf of the President
  • Ensure tasks are completed accurately, on time, and without the need for follow-up
The successful candidate has:
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a senior executive
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Comfort working with a demanding, highly structured leadership style
  • High discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality
  • Thick skin and the ability to let things roll off their back
  • Able to reliably commute to an east location of Edmonton for a fully on-site role
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $80,000 – $90,000 depending on experience
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
