Because the best results start with different ideas.Role OverviewThe SEM + Retail Manager is a data-driven, insights-led strategist and media platform expert. This individual excels in analytics, hands-on execution, and reporting, while also being a natural collaborator with strong organizational and presentation skills.The role spans multiple U.S. accounts across the CPG, retail, and health/fitness sectors and requires comfort managing diverse client expectations simultaneously. The Manager will oversee the strategy and execution of paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google, Bing, Amazon, Walmart, and other retail media networks-managing the full campaign lifecycle from planning to optimization.Core ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy and execution of retail media campaigns (e.g., Sponsored Products, Integrated Media) to deliver measurable outcomesDevelop plans to maximize product visibility, digital shelf presence, and conversions across retailer ecosystemsBuild and execute SEM and retail strategies aligned with client KPIs, including keyword planning, ad copy, and landing page optimizationsOwn end-to-end campaign execution, from media planning through performance optimizationAnalyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush; provide actionable insightsContinually evolve strategies through testing, innovation, and platform updatesCollaborate with internal teams and retail media networks to support campaign and merchandising excellenceTrack industry trends and adapt strategies to stay ahead of the curveMentor junior team members and support agency-wide knowledge building in SEM and retail mediaExperience & Skills3-4+ years in media/performance marketing focused on SEM or Retail MediaDirect experience with:Google Ads (required)SA360, Amazon Ads, and other retail media networksStrong communicator with excellent presentation and written skillsHighly organized, analytical, and detail-orientedExperience managing campaigns for Fortune 50 brandsCreative and resourceful, with a hands-on attitudeKnowledge across digital channels: CRM, SEO, SEM, programmatic, mobile, social, and videoExperience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce (asset)Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and navigate complex tasks using common sense and initiativeSalt's ValuesSalt of the Earth: Be kind, humble, hardworking, and collaborativeDo What's Right: Prioritize integrity over convenienceEarn It: Value hard work and merit-based successMake Things Better: Continuously seek improvement and innovationSeek Different Perspectives: Embrace diverse viewpoints to inspire creativity and growthSalt XC is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and to attracting and retaining the most qualified employees regardless of race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age, or disability.
