- Develops, prepares and validates estimates from technical requirements through the study, design, build and support stages for airplane part manufacturing
- Evaluates and develops business cases/proposal for manufacturing processes, parts and equipment
- Works closely with technical teams, business operations and other organizations to understand the project or study and develops cost impacts
- Ensuring alignment between estimates and financial budgets and forecasts
- Contributes to the development and application of pricing strategies using innovative computational techniques
- Incorporates data into and maintains structured database of estimates, business cases and prices
- Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals
- Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery
- Level 3: 3+ years of experience in Estimating & Pricing and/or Procurement Financial Analysis
- 3+ years of experience analyzing data, creating business cases, and presenting results
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
- Level 4: 5+ years of experience in Estimating & Pricing and/or Procurement Financial Analysis
- 1+ year of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics
- Experience working in a technical, operational or manufacturing environment with the ability to translate that knowledge into financial opportunities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage projects independently in an environment with competing priorities
