This role blends strong analytical capabilities, technical skills, HR systems knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. The manager will deliver high-quality dashboards, robust data models, governed datasets, and automated reporting solutions across HR, partnering closely with Data Engineers, HRIS teams, and business stakeholders to create scalable, reliable analytics products. The manager will design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reports. They will be responsible for transforming complex HR datasets into clear, actionable insights and developing forecasting, trending, and workforce performance dashboards.This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role. The Manger, Data & Analytics will serve as the de facto project manager on all analytics initiatives they own-scoping requirements, managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional dependencies, and driving deliverables to completion. The role demands a deeply consultative and strategic orientation: you will partner directly with HR Centers of Excellence and senior leaders to translate business priorities into analytics solutions, and you will be directly responsible for reporting and analytics products that are presented to the Executive Committee (ExCo).What You'll DoProject & Stakeholder LeadershipOwn end-to-end project management of analytics initiatives-from intake and scoping through delivery and iteration-without dedicated PM support.Serve as a strategic analytics partner to HR COEs and senior leaders, proactively identifying opportunities where data can inform strategy and improve outcomes.Develop, maintain, and present executive-level reporting and dashboards for ExCo consumption, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and narrative clarity.Manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent workstreams.Data Modelling & Engineering AlignmentBuild robust data models using best practices.Collaborate with Data Engineers on pipelines, requirements, and testing.Validate data quality and optimize dataset performance.Workday HR Data & IntegrationsAnalyze Workday HR data across HCM, Talent, Compensation, and Learning.Work with HRIS teams to define and validate Workday RaaS outputs.Understand data flows from Workday to SQL databases through APIs and SSIS pipelines.Automation & Process OptimizationUse Power Automate to automate and maintain reporting workflows.Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with scalable solutions.Governance & Data QualityStandardize KPI definitions and business logic.Maintain data dictionaries and documentation.Apply RLS and HR data privacy controls.Stakeholder Partnership & EnablementTranslate HR business questions into analytical solutions.Lead training for HR teams on dashboards and self-service analytics.Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and ExCo.How You'll GrowWe are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities. You'll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions and serve as an advocate for your professional growth.As you progress through your career at FTI Consulting, we offer tailored programs for critical professional milestones to ensure you are prepared and empowered to take on your next role.What You Will Need To SucceedBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience in data analytics or HR analytics.Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, HR Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.Experience working with enterprise HR systems, particularly Workday including ability to interpret Workday RaaS and integration outputs..Expert-level Power BI (data modelling, DAX, MDX, RLS, performance optimization, deployment pipelines).Experience with enterprise semantic models, star and snowflake schemas.Advanced Excel: Power Query, PivotTables, formulas, and templates.Strong communication skills for translating data into business insights, ability to tailor messaging for audiences ranging from technical teams to executive leadershipExperience collaborating with HR, IT, HRIS, and Data Engineering teams.Demonstrated ability to independently manage analytics projects end-to-end, including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and delivery against deadlines.Experience producing executive-level reporting or presentations for senior leadership audiences.Consultative mindset with a track record of proactively identifying business problems and proposing data-driven solutions.Strong experience with MS SQL Server (CTEs, window functions, stored procedures).Ability to work with SQL-layer HR datasets.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide sponsorshipAbility to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as neededPreferred QualificationsExperience in professional services, consulting, or a matrixed organization.Familiarity with HR data governance frameworks or SOX/compliance-adjacent reporting.Prior experience supporting C-suite or board-level analytics deliverables.Experience in Python and MS Fabric.Experience with AzureFamiliar with documentation and version control tools (Azure DevOps preferred).#LI-CM2#LI-RemoteTotal WellbeingOur goal is to support the wellbeing of you and your families-physically, emotionally, and financially.
