About Our ClientOur client is world renowned for excellence in the Insurance space. They have a strong leadership team, a friendly, supportive environment and offer their employees great flexibility. A rare opportunity to join their team has come available as Payroll & Finance Reconciliations Analyst on a contract basis that may go permanent.Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Payroll and Finance to design and implement payroll GL reconciliation process
  • Reconcile payroll results between Workday, payroll general ledger accounts, and invoices for deposits and tax remittances
  • Strong understanding of mapping of pay components to GL accounts
  • Conduct and resolve variances, providing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
  • Document processes, workflows, and controls to support SOX/SOC compliance and audit requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Payroll and Finance
Qualifications:(1) 5+ years of payroll accounting knowledge
(2) Experience with processing payroll for at least 3 years in both Canada and US
(3) Experience with UNIONIZED payroll is a must
(4) Must have experienc eprocessing multiple payroll runs
(5) PCP designated(6) Strong communicator, presents well
