We’re proud of who we are and the work we do to support our communities and customers who depend on us, because at ENMAX, we’re lighting the way together.As the Analytics & Insights Analyst, you’ll support Corporate Operational Services by turning data into clear, actionable insights and practical tools that support day-to-day operations across functions such as BCM, Supply Chain, Safety, Environment, Facilities, and Security. In this role, you’ll work as part of an established analytics team and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop dashboards and reports, and build low-code solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making. You’ll also contribute to maintaining and enhancing performance reporting while building your understanding of business processes and data.Major Responsibilities:Collect, validate, cleanse, and analyze data to support operational reporting and decision-makingPrepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizationsAssist in identifying trends, issues, and improvement opportunities within assigned business areasGather and document business requirements for analytics and reporting requestsSupport the development and monitoring of performance metrics and KPIsProvide ad hoc analysis in response to operational needsDesign, develop, and maintain low-code business applications and automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)Support data preparation and analysis activities using modern analytics platforms such as Microsoft FabricMaintain documentation, data definitions, and data quality controls for assigned solutionsProvide user support and guidance for developed reports, dashboards, and applicationsCollaborate with team members, stakeholders, and IT partners to deliver analytics solutionsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives as assignedTranslate business needs into practical analytics and application solutionsEducation Required:University degree in a related field (e.g., Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics) with 2–4 years of relevant experience or Technical diploma in a related field with 4–6 years of relevant experienceQualifications & Experience:Demonstrated background in data analysis, reporting, and/or business analyticsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelHands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)Proven capability developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)Skilled in documenting business requirements and process workflowsExposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, lakehouse) is considered an assetExperience building end-to-end solutions (from requirements through to delivery) is considered an assetCompetencies:· Applies established methods and tools to analyze information and solve problems· Communicates clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats· Translates analytical findings into clear, audience-appropriate outputs and insights· Organizes work effectively and manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment· Collaborates well within a team environment and builds positive working relationshipsENMAX Values – Safety, Integrity, Accountability, Service, Teamwork, Agility, InnovationDid we mention the ENMAX Advantage?We offer competitive compensation including a comprehensive flexible benefits program, non-downtown location that includes great building amenities such as free onsite fitness facility with programming geared to employee’s needs, onsite childcare centre (upon availability, offered from our ENMAX Place location 141 – 50 Ave. SE), free parking and much more.
