- Serves as primary contact for multiple studies/sites
- Recruits and screens patients for eligibility for current studies based on established criteria
- Conducts and documents informed consent
- Monitors study progress and ensures proper documentation and follow-up on studies
- Generates study-specific documents
- Assists with data collection and testing
- Serves as a liaison to physicians, investigators, participants and other staff members regarding the research process
- Assists with and/or reviews Research Ethics Board documents
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, neuroscience, psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience with neurobehavioural and/or neurocognitive assessments (e.g., MoCA, MMSE etc.) preferred
- Prior experience conducting or supporting research studies in cognition, memory, dementia, or related fields preferred
- Experience working with a geriatric population with neurodegenerative diseases, and their caregivers preferred
- Experience with data capture applications (e.g. REDCap)
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
