
Sales Representative - Mechanical, SW Ontario

- Become a trusted advisor to all industry stakeholders by offering technical and overall market expertise.
- Develop long term relationships with distributors, contractors, & engineers and secure their commitment to our products.
- Protect existing IPEX market as well as grow share by converting contractors & engineers from traditional metal piping systems to IPEX Mechanical Systems.
- Promote IPEX products at industry trade shows, distributor training sessions, engineer lunch & learns, and contractor installation trainings.
- Investigate and follow up on sales leads and potential new markets.
- Collaborate with and support IPEX sales colleagues to achieve Team objectives.
- Work closely with IPEX Customer Service, Innovation, Marketing, and Product Management.
- Track sales activity in CRM, provide monthly market reports, and contribute to forecasting & market share exercises.
- University degree or College Diploma is an asset.
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in sales and customer facing activities.
- Construction Industry experience is an asset.
- Proven excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work independently with strong self-motivation skills.
- Willingness to travel overnight 20% of the time.
