Adecco is currently hiring a Business Development Representative for a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Stoney Creek, ON. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong experience in sales, client relationship management, and proposal development within technical or infrastructure-related industries.As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in developing sales strategies, managing the pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.Pay Rate: $90,000 - $100,000/yearLocation: Stoney Creek, ON (Hybrid - 3 days in office)Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)Contract: PermanentVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectivesIdentify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within targeted markets and sectorsBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholdersManage the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and closingPrepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective and existing clientsCollaborate with technical, marketing, and internal teams to develop customized proposals and solutionsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities within CRM systemsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategiesNegotiate contracts and agreements while ensuring alignment with business objectivesRepresent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunitiesPrepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecastsRequirementsMust be eligible to work and reside within Canada5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (experience in infrastructure, environmental, engineering, or similar industries is an asset)Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Planning, or a related discipline, or equivalent experienceProven track record of generating leads, developing pipelines, and closing dealsStrong experience in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and client presentationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiencesStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systemsSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to exceed targetsValid driver's license with the ability to travel occasionally within OntarioWhy Work with This ClientOpportunity to join a well-established and innovative organization within a growing industryHybrid work model offering flexibility and work-life balanceCollaborative team environment with cross-functional exposureOpportunity to represent the company at industry events and expand your professional networkStrong potential for career growth and long-term developmentInterested in this position?
