Job Description: Job Title: UAT LeadLocation: Gatineau, QC (preferred) & bilingual (preferred) Work Style: Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)Skills Required: Usability Analysis and Evaluation Techniques Experience Required: 8-10Role Overview:The UAT Lead is responsible for end-to-end coordination, execution oversight, and governance of User Acceptance Testing for the SAP ISU Greenfield solution. This role works closely with the business leads, business analysts, business SMEs, functional teams, and technology leads to ensure UAT is effectively planned, executed, and completed, with full coverage of business-critical processes. Given that the business team is new to SAP and has not previously executed project UAT, the UAT Lead must provide structure, guidance, and practical support to enable a successful testing cycle.Key Responsibilities1. UAT Planning & Coordination
  • Develop and maintain the UAT execution plan, schedule, tester assignment, and logistics.
  • Coordinate all UAT activities with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and PMO.
  • Ensure clear definition of scope, business process coverage, and prioritization of test scenarios.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the OCM and Training teams to ensure user readiness by aligning UAT activities with communication, change preparation, and training plans.
2. Business Readiness & Enablement
  • Educate business testers who are new to SAP:
o Train users on test terminology, concepts, execution process, roles and responsibilities Project will be using QTest as the testing tool.o Provide guidance on how to write, execute, and document test scenarios and results.
  • Coach business leads on how to leverage SIT artifacts (process flows, test scripts, defects) to accelerate UAT and reduce risk.
  • Help the business identify and structure test scenarios to ensure full coverage of business processes.
  • Lead test scenario/script preparation, leveraging available SIT scenarios and scripts.
3. UAT Execution Support
  • Run daily UAT standups, progress reviews, and issue management checkpoints.
  • Ensure testers understand test data, steps, expected results, and how to capture evidence.
  • Validate test results with business testers when required and clarify expected system behavior.
  • Monitor test execution progress to ensure adherence to schedule and identify areas needing intervention.
4. Defect Management & Technology Liaison
  • Act as the primary interface between business testers and the technology teams.
  • Lead defect triage discussions, ensuring proper classification, prioritization, and assignment.
  • Track defect resolution progress and ensure timely retesting and closure.
  • Escalate critical issues that impact UAT timelines or readiness for go live
5. Reporting & Governance
  • Provide daily and weekly progress updates to the Project Manager and business lead
  • Maintain UAT metrics including scenario execution, defect aging, defect severity, and risk areas
  • Ensuring UAT entry and exit criteria as defined in the test strategy is met
  • Highlight blockers, risks, and required decision points promptly.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Previous SAP Test Lead or UAT Lead experience on SAP ERP implementations (IS U, S/4HANA, ECC, or comparable).
  • Expert knowledge of end t o end SAP testing cycles, including SIT, UAT, regression, defect management, and best test practices
  • Ability to be onsite if required to assist business teams. Location Gatineau, Quebec

Highly Desirable Skills:
  • Foundation understanding of SAP IS U solution and its integrated nature, with exposure to core modules such as Billing, FICA, Device Management, and CRM.
  • Bilingual (French/English) – strong asset for business support and communication
