- Project Leadership: Manage the full project lifecycle-from planning and procurement to execution and close-out-ensuring safety, quality, and budget targets are met.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the key point of contact for clients, regulators, and community partners, building trust and ensuring alignment.
- Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and reporting with precision and transparency.
- Contract & Risk Oversight: Negotiate and manage contracts, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Technical Leadership: Apply your expertise in marine construction-including pile driving, crane operations, barge logistics, and deep foundations-to deliver exceptional results.
- Strategic Growth: Contribute to business development efforts and help shape the future direction of VanPile's marine operations.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience: 10-15 years of progressive project management experience in marine or heavy civil construction, with a strong portfolio of large-scale projects.
- Professional Designation: Registered or eligible to register as a P.Eng., EIT, or AScT in British Columbia.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of marine construction methods, contract documentation, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project), and financial controls.
- Leadership Skills: A proven leader who inspires teams, drives performance, and leads with integrity.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
