- Coordinate and manage all cross-border (US/Canada/Mexico) import and export operations from booking to final delivery.
- Liaise with carriers, vendors, brokers, and border partners to secure capacity and monitor shipments.
- Prepare, review, and process required transborder documentation, including bills of lading and customs documents.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian, U.S., and Mexican transportation and customs regulations.
- Monitor shipment milestones and proactively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customs brokers and border authorities to ensure successful and timely clearance.
- Resolve operational issues, service failures, or transportation disruptions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate shipment data in internal systems and ensure documentation completeness.
- Work collaboratively with sales, customer service, and product teams to ensure strong customer experience.
- Stay current on transborder regulations, industry changes, and best practices.
- High school diploma required; additional education in logistics or supply chain is an asset.
- 2–3 years’ experience in road freight, cross-border transportation, or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of Canadian, U.S., and Mexico customs requirements and transborder processes.
- Understanding of LTL/FTL, bond movements, carrier networks, and cross-border operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with logistics systems is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to handle operational exceptions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
