What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC Walter Power Diamond and CNC ANCA TX+7 machines
  • Grind and recondition carbide round tools including drills, reamers, and end mills
  • Perform frequent changeovers for small quantity, custom tooling orders
  • Inspect tools using Walter Helicheck, Mitutoyo Laser Micrometer, and Zoller Genius (preferred)
  • Apply GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measuring techniques to ensure quality
What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in a related field is a plus)
  • 1+ Years experience operating CNC Walter Power Diamond and CNC ANCA TX+7
  • 1+ Years of experience operating and programming 5-axis CNC machines
  • Strong knowledge of Walter Tool Studio and/or ANCA iGrind software
  • Proficiency in CNC machine setup, programming, and troubleshooting
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Experience with additional CNC grinding platforms (e.g., Star, Schütte, Rollomatic)
  • Familiarity with SPS, 5S, and Continuous Improvement (CI) practices
  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production environment
