- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, Linkedin outreach, etc.
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate marketing campaigns based on available Trafficjunky targeting options.
- Consistent documentation of conversations with prospective customers
- Set up meetings or calls with potential clients
- Continue to follow-up with prospects until qualification is complete
- Report to the leadership on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Attending trade shows and engaging with industry trade associations
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Previous experience in client-facing digital media including, but not limited to, online advertising, media buying, affiliate marketing, or account managementFamiliarity with online pricing models - CPM, CPC, CPA, etc.
- The Trade Desk certification, Google Ads certification
- Salesforce experience
