You will support environmental assessments, emissions modelling, regulatory reporting, and mitigation strategies that directly shape healthier, more sustainable environments.Your Impact
- Conduct air quality assessments, emissions inventories, and dispersion modelling for industrial, energy, infrastructure, and community projects.
- Lead data interpretation and preparation of technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submissions.
- Support project teams to integrate air quality considerations into environmental assessments and permitting processes.
- Collect, analyze, and validate ambient monitoring data to inform decision-making and compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts across environmental, engineering, and project delivery teams.
- Support client engagement by presenting findings and providing technical recommendations.
- Contribute to innovative best practices in air quality science, modelling tools, and environmental stewardship.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in air quality, atmospheric science, environmental engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with air dispersion models (AERMOD, CALPUFF, etc.) and emissions calculations.
- Familiarity with federal, provincial, and territorial environmental regulations.
- Ability to interpret scientific data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
- Ability to conduct occasional fieldwork to install, maintain and troubleshoot various air quality and meteorological monitoring equipment, desired, but not required.
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Eligibility for or membership in a relevant professional association (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., or equivalent desired, but not required).
