Job Description:Major Job FunctionsTroubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment in an active Mine environmentPerform field diagnosis and field running repairsUtilize Caterpillar SIS and ET dailyComplete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning teamWork with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as requiredSpecific Skills & ExperienceInterprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) CertificationValid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract10+ Years Off Road Mechanical Experience RecommendedPrevious repair experience on the Caterpillar mining and general line product lines Rock Trucks, Dozers, Excavators, GradersImportant Details:This role supports our Northwest BC Mining customers (Skeena and Tahltan Nation Development Corporation) on a 14x14 ShiftA condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicableUnion Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
