- Support mass and periodic tax form filing (monthly, annual, exception) in partnership with internal stakeholders and tax agencies.
- Liaise directly with CRA, Revenu Québec on matters pertaining to tax form submission.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Canadian payroll tax matters to support the resolution of complex client tax inquiries and government notices.
- Monitor and maintain the tax dashboard to ensure visibility into filing status, compliance risks, and outstanding items.
- Partner with support teams to resolve customer inquiries related to tax form filing and year-end reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to coordinate year-end readiness, execution, and issue resolution.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to analyze and implement legislative and regulatory changes impacting tax requirements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of tax filing procedures, documentation, and training materials.
- Support audits and compliance reviews related to payroll taxes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen compliance controls, and improve filing accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to system enhancements, implementations, and testing related to tax form filing and reporting functionality
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) or PLP designation from the National Payroll Institute (formerly CPA) preferred.
- 3–5+ years of Canadian payroll tax experience in a multi-provincial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial payroll legislation.
- Experience working with payroll systems (e.g., Workday, Dayforce, ADP, SAP, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliation analysis).
- Willingness to embrace change and utilize technology to drive efficiencies
- Experience liaising with tax authorities and supporting audits.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.

- French language proficiency is desirable but not essential
