
Business Development Coordinator

- Serve as the first point of contact for all sales-related inquiries via phone, email, text, and online channels.
- Professionally and promptly respond to customer inquiries, providing product information and support.
- Generate qualified sales appointments for the dealership through proactive outbound calls, emails, and lead follow-up.
- Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on all sales appointments to maximize attendance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth customer hand-off and consistent guest experience.
- Maintain and update customer records in the CRM/data management system.
- Track and fairly distribute all sales leads to appropriate consultants.
- Conduct follow-up calls and communications with customers who visited but did not purchase, as well as past customers, to identify new opportunities.
- Create and filter customer retention lists to identify repeat or referral sales opportunities.
- Present product information and promotions in a clear, engaging manner.
- Address and overcome customer objections with professionalism.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales appointment and lead conversion goals.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager or BDC Manager.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and phone).
- Sales or call centre experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CRM tools or automotive software (TMS, AutoAlert, CDK, DealerSocket, VinSolutions, etc.) is an asset.
- Strong ability to multitask and work across multiple platforms/programs.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Automotive knowledge is an asset but not required.
- 1-2 years of customer service, call centre, or sales experience preferred.
