- Draft, review, and issue construction contracts through predetermined procedures, while ensuring compliance with procurement requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Administer all commercial matters associated with various contracts and subcontracts, including but not limited to progress claims, change management/disputes and formal amendments, performance monitoring and ongoing relationship management.
- Maintain and manage all project contract documents; and ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, contractual obligations, and project close-out requirements.
- Work within both internal and external client systems and processes, including automated workflows and approval chains.
- Develop Procurement Strategies, Contracting Plans, RFx packages, conformed contract documentation and other requests.
- Prepare purchase recommendations and communicate regularly with clients to secure approvals for purchase in accordance with established procedures.
- Receive and evaluate bids, as well as develop new sources of supply and inventory forecasts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal teams regarding contractual matters. Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on contract status and key milestones.

- Three to five years of practical experience in a similar role supporting major infrastructure or commercial construction projects
- Diploma or degree in a related field
- Experienced in preparing and issuing reports and relevant documentation, and verifying contract documents; with comprehension of contractual Terms and Conditions in conjunction with established procurement policies.
- Demonstrated ability in standard procurement procedures and practices, along with knowledge of the construction processes by which engineering projects are undertaken.
- Developed knowledge of procurement processes, systems, techniques, sourcing strategy, supplier management and contract management.
- Exceptional verbal and written English language communication skills.
- Proficient in use of MS Office products such as, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, knowledge of Project ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.) is an asset.
- Working towards or attaining certification with relevant organizations such as IoSCM, APICS, PMAC or similar is an asset.
