DescriptionAbility to manage a major project or several projects from contract award to final site closure. Over 10 years' experience in a construction company and expertise in civil engineering. (bridges, viaducts...) with building expertise.Manage several projects OR a large-scale project from contract award to final site closure, as well as the financial aspects of the project(s).
Guarantees the application of the company's quality, health & safety and environmental rules.
Guarantee the quality of the work, in compliance with the contract and the company's quality system.
Ensure contractual follow-up with the customer
Negotiate, draw up and manage subcontracts
Establish project budget and guarantee performance targets
Carry out monthly cost control
Validation of work methods
Plan, organize and control work on the site(s) for which he is responsible, in compliance with specifications, plans and estimates.
Be responsible for the technical, financial, commercial and human aspects of the operations entrusted to him/her. Represent the company on-site
Be responsible for meeting deadlines and budgets
Take charge of administrative procedures related to the life of the worksite
Draw up and monitor work and supply schedules
Organize the recruitment of site personnel and plan team deployment
Organize workstations and apply safety rules
Organize and lead site meetings and draft minutes
Coordinate subcontractors and various trades
Monitor expenses and draw up invoices
Manage administrative site closure.
This includes managing a dedicated project team and ensuring that all participants comply with contractual requirements.Qualifications and skills requiredBachelor's degree in engineering
Member in good standing of the OIQ
Relevant project management experience in civil engineering (bridge, viaduct, etc.) or building sites
Proficiency in MS Office and autocad software
Good communication skills
Bilingualism an asset
