
Trade Relations Manager

- Build relationships with the major wholesalers and distributors across the country to ensure that key contacts are well informed about AbbVie products and manage inventory levels within the supply chain.
- Manage the contractual agreements with wholesalers and distributors.
- Notify customers and update of all systems relating to new/changes in price and product lists.
- Tracking and monitoring of the execution and success.
- Develop reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify the appropriate metrics and tracking to ensure the right execution. Analyze volume, inventory levels, trends, growth.
- Liaise with Finance and Forecasters for month-end and quarter-end process.
- Ensure data integrity and data flows between the company and distribution vendors and trade partners.
- Develop, build and execute distribution strategies for each product.
- Collaborate on the development of the overall trade and distribution business plan in collaboration with the brand teams.
- Implement trade/distribution strategies and programs.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with trade partners.
- Anticipate and recommend solutions to business problems.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science or Health Care. A related or equivalent field may be considered.
- Previous experience in a similar role with comprehensive knowledge in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry (minimum of five to eight years).
- Extensive and proven pharmaceutical sales experience (ideally a minimum of two years).
- Experience in an analytical role such as market analytics or research, marketing, forecasting, finance/accounting, supply chain or other cross-functional experience is considered a strength.
- Ability to demonstrate effective business judgment and a positive attitude.
- Solid business relationships with relevant external stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to compliance, quality, integrity.
- Ability to think strategically (work plans, activities, timetables, targeting and operating with execution excellence.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Must be at ease with technology (the use of various tools/systems to perform day-to-day tasks).
- Drive the execution of the strategic plan around wholesale distribution strategy.
