We’re looking for a Head Gardener to lead the planning, care, and maintenance of our residential and commercial gardens. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll manage a dedicated team and ensure all enhancement and maintenance projects meet the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility.What You’ll Be Doing
Garden Management & Field LeadershipPlan and implement seasonal tasks like pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and pest controlOversee the care of flowerbeds, rock beds, shrubs, and trees to maintain optimal plant healthIdentify and recommend garden enhancements to improve beauty and functionalityLead, train, and schedule a team of gardeners, ensuring safety and timely task completionServe as the key contact for clients, offering guidance on plant care and garden designMonitor tool and supply inventory, ensuring proper use and maintenanceMaintain records of garden activities, team performance, and plant healthPromote eco-friendly practices such as composting, native planting, and water conservationWhat We’re Looking For
QualificationsDiploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design, or a related field (preferred)5+ years of gardening or landscaping experience, including 2+ years in a leadership roleValid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving recordSkills & AttributesDeep knowledge of plant care and garden maintenance techniquesStrong team leadership and training skillsExcellent communication and client service abilitiesOrganized, proactive, and able to manage tasks in changing conditionsPhysically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weatherWhy Join Us?
