- Partner with senior recruiters to design and execute deep market maps of priority companies and teams
- Surface competitive intelligence and talent insights that shape recruiting strategy and influence leaders' decisions
- Identify and spotlight up-and-coming profiles who may not be visible through traditional sourcing channels
- Bring a programmatic lens to the top of funnel, ensuring we use all the tools in our toolbox to engage best-in-class talent
- Produce structured deliverables (longlists, org charts, research briefs) that enable clear, data-driven decisions
- Experiment with AI and advanced tools to make research sharper and more thorough, while keeping rigor front and center
- Operate with urgency and persistence-digging deep, turning over every stone, and driving clarity out of ambiguity
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
- 2+ years of experience in research, sourcing, or analysis (recruiting, market research, consulting, intelligence, or related fields)
- Demonstrated ability to dig deep-finding and synthesizing insights from multiple sources beyond LinkedIn
- Strong communication skills-able to deliver concise, well-structured insights that influence stakeholders
- Growth mindset with a bias for learning; excited to pick up new tools and techniques quickly
- Detail orientation and persistence-you thrive on solving puzzles and uncovering hard-to-find information
- A passion for people, organizations, and how high-performing teams are built
- Must be based in Canada
