Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and support to ensure the company operates within the law at all times. This role involves managing legal risks, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal issues affecting the company.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
Support corporate governance and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legal developments.
Assist in dispute resolution and litigation management.QualificationsLaw degree from an accredited institution.
Admission to the bar and valid license to practice law.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal counsel or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and contract law.
Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
