Job Title: Project Manager Job DescriptionLead the end-to-end delivery of capital and operational projects in a heavy-industry, safety-first environment. The role involves owning the scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management while coordinating multi-disciplinary internal teams and external contractors.Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, create and maintain integrated schedules, control budgets and cash flow, manage variances and forecasts, and lead change control.
  • Identify, quantify, mitigate, and escalate risks; implement countermeasures to recover off-track projects.
  • Align plant leadership, functional SMEs, and external partners/vendors; issue regular progress reports and stage-gate packages.
  • Oversee EPCs and trades, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality, schedule, and site rules.
  • Support capital allocation and internal approval committee processes with robust business cases and cost controls.
  • Maintain accurate records, as-built and turnover packages; closeout with lessons learned for reuse.
  • Embed a 'safety first' approach in all planning, site work, contractor interactions, and change decisions, with stop-work authority and reporting adherence.
  • Drive the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, closure) with structured plans, WBS, baselines, and KPIs.

Work EnvironmentThe candidate will need to travel up to 30% to project sites, including locations like Port Cartier. This may involve traveling a few weeks in a month, with periods of no travel for up to three months.
