- Lead all culinary operations for PARKER'S Table, Social, the Listening Lounge, and In-Room Dining with a focus on creativity, consistency, and precision.
- Design and refine seasonal menus that celebrate premium Canadian ingredients, Asian influence, and Rimrock's distinctive alpine spirit.
- Ensure uncompromising standards of quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction across all outlets.
- Oversee daily operations from mise en place and service execution to post-shift analysis and continuous improvement.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary team dedicated to excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaged kitchen culture that reflects Rimrock's values and leadership philosophy.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, training sessions, and development planning to build future culinary leaders.
- Achieve financial goals through effective cost control, inventory management, and forecasting.
- Monitor food and labor costs to ensure efficient resource utilization while maintaining Rimrock's elevated standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, leading the property's HACCP initiatives.
- Partner with Food & Beverage leadership to create immersive dining experiences that tell a story and leave a lasting impression.
- Stay ahead of culinary trends, sustainability practices, and evolving guest preferences.
- Champion Rimrock's culinary identity through innovation, artistry, and passion.
- Experience in 5 Diamond or Michelin-recognized restaurants
- Red Seal Certification or equivalent professional culinary training.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive culinary leadership in fine dining or luxury hotel environments.
- Proven expertise in Canadian-inspired cuisine with a foundation in modern, ingredient-driven cooking.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams in a fast-paced, high-standard setting.
- Strong financial acumen, organizational excellence, and clear communication skills.
- International experience preferred.
- Proven leadership in 5-Diamond or Michelin-rated kitchen environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing HACCP and advanced food-safety programs.
- Established relationships with local farmers, foragers, and premium Canadian producers (farm-to-table networks).
- Expertise in butchery, charcuterie, or house-made preservation techniques.
- Experience with Asian culinary techniques (e.g., umami-forward cuisine, fermentation, wok/robata techniques).
- Sustainability project experience (waste reduction, sourcing strategies, energy-efficient kitchen design).
- Experience training and developing culinary talent, building bench strength and succession planning.
- A passion for coaching, skill development, and continuous learning.
