A Business Analyst/OCM will gather and elaborate requirements for IT infrastructure and application development teams, converting business needs into clear technical specifications.
The role demands strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities, along with experience in Agile/User Stories and preferred domain knowledge in the Oil & Gas industry.Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
- Elicit high level requirements for stakeholders and users
- Possess high level oral and written communication, problem solving, and diplomatic skill sets
- Unified Process or Agile methodologies of documenting requirements in Use Cases or User Stories
- Preferred Domain Knowledge/Experience: Oil and Gas Industry
- Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
- Knowledge of information security policies and solution delivery lifecycle
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
- Elaborate requirements in sufficient detail for IT Infrastructure engineers/architects to prepare design and application programmers to code
- Analytic ability to abstract, decompose, categorize, and compare
- Ability to work as part of large team and to lead the team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and with a team
- Ability to multitask and distinguish important and urgent matters from a broad range of duties under tight deadlines
- Articulate complex technical issues with both Technical teams and Business users
