This position will be responsible for meeting our customer requirements in language solutions by engaging with internal customers including product and marketing/sales teams, functional groups, vendor partners, and delivering a successful localization program.This role will report to our Manager, Localization Program Management, and it is a hybrid position based in our Vancouver office.ResponsibilitiesFunction as a business partner with internal stakeholders by driving the implementation of optimal workflows and defining localization strategies for your program. Represent Localization, providing recommendations, and evangelizing the vision of the Localization organizationDetermine localization requirements in terms of scope and milestones, and drive high level project planning from an early phaseManage project cost within your localization programBe an advanced user of an in-house cost management system for cost analysis and reporting. Make sure spending/forecast is accurate and reported to management/stakeholders in a timely mannerCollaborate with global stakeholders and promote language-AI solutions to ensure alignment with language requirementsUse data analysis, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of actionEstablish positive communication among internal customers, functional groups, and external vendors to identify potential issues and effectively remove barriers to localization program successDrive escalation to resolutionMonitor and analyze performance of vendor partners through evaluations and other KPIs; monitor and enforce applicable requirementsDrive a program retrospective with product and/or marketing teams, functional groups, and vendor partners to optimize program effectivenessEngage in cross-functional or corporate initiatives to represent localization and influence the stakeholders for continuous process improvementMinimum QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in Localization Program Management or Translation/Localization Project Management; in a high-technology environment preferredKnowledge of MT/MTQE/APE (quality estimation/automated post-editing), language AI domain, AI-based localizationExperience with cost management principles and toolsKnowledge and experience with localization tools/processes, linguistic quality management, cross-industry marketing complexities, release processes, etc.Superb written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively and build rapport with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and external partnersAbility to work on a self-initiated basis and in a global team environment with vendor partnersBA/BS degree or equivalent work experienceLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
