Job Title: Technical Program Product Manager II Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Technical Program Product Manager II, where you will play a pivotal role in managing the deprecation of a 22-year-old software. Your day-to-day activities will involve coordinating with multiple engineering teams, reviewing program metrics, and ensuring progress on key deliverables. You will facilitate technical design reviews, manage stakeholder communications, and work to remove blockers. You will analyze data to make informed decisions about program direction and prioritization, acting as a bridge between Customer Experience Foundations and all internal customers who rely on our infrastructure.Responsibilities
  • Own and drive end-to-end technical program execution for different projects.
  • Partner with engineering teams to define technical requirements and architectural approaches.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and drive technical alignment across organizations.
  • Create and maintain program roadmaps, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Drive operational excellence and process improvements.
  • Lead technical reviews and provide regular status updates.
  • Manage a team of six people and oversee stakeholder communication for migration projects.
  • Work on service projects for one or two months and manage contractors in Vancouver.
  • Serve as a point of contact for removing blockers and escalating to the right team.
  • Prepare backlog assignments and run weekly sprints.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
  • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Proficiency in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to conduct technical deep dives.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and communication, serving as a bridge between software development engineers and stakeholders.
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with technical design concepts.
Work EnvironmentThis role is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and operates on a hybrid model with three days in the office and two days at home. The team enjoys monthly lunches, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
