
Senior Manager, Audit

What you will do
- Oversee and manage the audit of the clients from planning and risk assessment to completion.
- Provides technical, audit operations, and audit quality leaderships to all engagements
- Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing the business plan
- Work with members of the assurance management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan
- Play a key role to develop, train, counsel and mentor audit staff and seniors.
- Help clients reach solutions on their needs
- Working with clients and partners through complex accounting issues to come up with appropriate solutions
- Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements
- Must have a Canadian CPA designation or international CPA equivalent
- 7+ years of audit experience working with a public practice accounting firm
- Previous experience using IFRS working with publicly listed clients
- Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- The ability to coach, develop and mentor audit staff and seniors.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities is derived from your dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service
- Proven background of building client relationships, a client base and adding revenue
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, are a strong team player and have meticulous attention to detail
- Professional accounting firm audit experience is a must
- Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and demonstrate strong leadership qualities
- Strong mentoring and performance management skills
