Fleet Manager - Direct Hire | Alliston, ON | $70,000/year
Day Shift | Monday to Friday 8am-5pm | 100% In-Office | Benefits & VacationAre you a proactive leader with a passion for keeping fleets running safely and efficiently? We're seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to take charge of our commercial truck fleet operations and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced transportation environment.What You'll Do:

Manage daily operations of tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
Ensure compliance with DOT, MTO, FMCSA, CVOR, and ELD regulations.
Oversee maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns and roadside violations.
Track fleet performance, operating costs, and implement process improvements.
Analyze telematics and ELD data for fuel efficiency and driver performance.
Supervise fleet staff and coordinate with dispatch and operations teams.
Negotiate with vendors, dealerships, leasing companies, and fuel providers.
Prepare fleet performance and cost reports for leadership.

What You Bring:

5-7+ years of fleet management experience in trucking or transportation, including cross-border operations.
Strong understanding of commercial vehicle regulations and heavy-duty diesel maintenance.
Proficiency in fleet management software, telematics, and ELD systems.
Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement process improvements.
Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and safety programs.
Post-secondary education in transportation, logistics, or business is preferred.
