Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking an Intermediate Systems Administrator / Operations Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 technical support, operational troubleshooting, service management, and user liaison functions within a public-sector healthcare environment. You will support enterprise applications, triage service tickets, work collaboratively with technical SMEs, and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with Public Sector standards.ScopeProvide daily first-point-of-contact technical support through Footprints or other ITSM platformsPrioritize urgent ticket requests alongside scheduled operational tasksLiaise between end users and technical groups (DBAs, System Admins, Network Admins, Privacy/Security SMEs, Application SMEs)Triage and categorize Footprints tickets accurately for reporting and assignment.Assignment DeliverablesProvide ongoing Tier 1 support to users, ensuring timely response and resolutionMaintain accurate, complete ticket records for reporting and audit purposesAnalyze, triage, classify, and escalate incidents and service requests as neededPerform AD account creation and support Great Plains, Quadrant Workforce, and BSSI module users.Expertise RequiredMust Have:Knowledge and Skills/Experience of Microsoft great Plains 2016, Quadrant Workforce, BSSI Health Financial Management Module, Citrix, AD account creationKnowledge of Service Management Processes with 2+ years' experience in supporting remote clients. Experience triaging tickets, prioritizing, categorizing and handling service requests, incidents and problem tickets.Nice to Have:Knowledge of PHIPA or other privacy legislation related to personal health informationExperience working with cross-functional teams (DBAs, Network Admins, System Admins, Privacy/Security SMEs).Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
