You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.You'll play a key role in shaping cost-efficient solutions and driving innovation in electrical systems. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing), support the electrical engineering team in adopting a design-to-cost approach, and much more.You'll specifically take care of estimating the technical cost of parts and systems defined by the electrical engineering team, but also support sourcing teams in supplier negotiations.We'll look to you for:Realizing estimations of the technical cost of parts/systems defined by the electrical engineering teamSupporting the electrical engineering team in adopting a design-to-cost way of workingParticipating in the creation of target costsSupporting the sourcing team in negotiations with suppliersApplying or developing methodologies to calculate the technical cost of electrical components/systems throughout the product development cycleApplying or developing cost analysis methods for electrical components/systemsProposing improvements to the design or manufacturing process to reduce technical costsPromoting a cost-conscious culture within the engineering teamProviding detailed cost breakdowns of components to support the sourcing team during negotiationsAll about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
