ServiceNow Asset Management Implementation SMEOur client is seeking a ServiceNow Asset Management Implementation SME to support the rollout of SAM Pro on an existing ServiceNow platform. The role is responsible for leading the design and deployment of SAM Pro capabilities, enabling effective software lifecycle governance, compliance monitoring, optimization, and enterprise license management and strengthening ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management operations (HAM) and maintain CMDB health.
This engagement is a 7‑month contract.Your success will be defined by your ability to

Lead the full implementation lifecycle of ServiceNow SAM Pro, including solution design, configuration, discovery integration, reconciliation, and license lifecycle workflow setup
Collaborate with procurement, software licensing, IT operations, and security teams to gather requirements and ensure SAM Pro aligns with organizational processes
Configure SAM Pro features to enable compliance dashboards, optimization insights, and automated remediation actions
Oversee integrations with major data sources such as Intune, Catalyst Center, LogicMonitor as well as ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, ensuring end‑to‑end solution validation and quality assurance
Develop training materials and documentation to support smooth adoption and operational readiness of SAM Pro
Assess the current HAM implementation and provide recommendations to improve CMDB accuracy and overall asset governance
Refine HAM workflows, data practices, and asset lifecycle processes in alignment with ITAM and CMDB best practices
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate ITAM processes across both SAM Pro and HAM
Provide subject‑matter guidance and knowledge transfer to teams involved in IT asset management

Your Strengths include

A minimum of 10 years of experience supporting project delivery or large IT transformation initiatives. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - SAM Pro and HAM Pro certifications strongly preferred
ITIL certification is considered an asset
Proven hands‑on experience implementing ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro
Strong understanding of software licensing models, compliance considerations, and enterprise software lifecycle management
Experience working with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) or other ITAM frameworks
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams
High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
