Reporting to Director Of Warehouse Operations in Montreal, the Dispatch Agent demonstrates proactivity, is a good team player and has excellent communication skills.In this role, the dispatcher agent will be responsible for entering or scheduling deliveries into the system. They will not be involved in arrangements with truck drivers.Responsibilities
Ensure all non-payments are processed 48 hrs before delivery;
Ensure all messages are taken as soon as a shift starts and returned promptly;
Ensure all calls are answered right away to provide good service;
Ensure all driver calls are answered and that any issue related to product defect requiring a technician is promptly communicated to customer service department ;
Ensure when inspections are required that this information is emailed to warehouse manager;
Able to confirm a minimum of 25 deliveries per shift;
When booking customers pickups at warehouse must explain our opening hours and methods of payment.Requirements
Previous dispatching experience (1 year minimum)
Must be fluent in French and English
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to use computers
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
