Work Arrangement: Fully in office for first several months, then hybrid.
Expected Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experienceResponsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, contractors, and end users
- Review contracts and address any unfavorable clauses or conditions
- Take ownership of the financial performance of assigned projects
- Estimate project costs, manage changes, and prepare tenders
- Source and purchase required materials and equipment
- Work collaboratively with the Power Quality Manager, Coordinators, and Service Electricians to schedule preventative maintenance and small projects
- Oversee project activities and maintain a regular presence on job sites
- Review labour and job status reports for accuracy and make adjustments as needed
- Coordinate the completion of project manuals and Power Quality reports
- Ensure deficiencies are addressed promptly by Service Electricians
- Confirm that as?built drawings are completed and delivered to customers
- Close out projects by reviewing successes and challenges with the foreman and superintendent
- Finalize all documentation to support accurate billing and project closeout
- Background in the electrical field, supported by a trade certification, engineering degree, or technologist diploma
- Two to three years of hands?on experience in electrical estimating or project coordination
- Understanding of Power Quality concepts or preventative maintenance practices
- Exposure to high?voltage electrical systems
- Experience using estimating tools; familiarity with platforms like Accubid Pro or Change Order is a plus
- FSR B or A designation considered an advantage
- Foundational knowledge of arc flash analysis, infrared inspections, power factor correction, and UPS equipment
- Strong attention to detail paired with excellent organizational abilities
- Confident computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
