- Collaborate with customers to define test requests, ensuring alignment on cost, timing, materials, and resource requirements.
- Perform corrosion vehicle teardowns and detailed dissection of e-coat vehicles, documenting issues and findings meticulously.
- Lead a team of technicians and co-op students in teardown and dissection processes, providing guidance and oversight.
- Design and utilize hydraulic and mechanical testing equipment to evaluate elastomeric vehicle components, collecting and analyzing data.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, including film thickness readings, metal loss measurements, and laser scans, communicating results effectively to product engineers.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Material Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience related to corrosion effects on various metal alloys and compositions.
- Knowledge of vehicle body, chassis, and suspension systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and VBA.
- Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in Canada with the ability to travel to the USA.
