As our Sr. Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will partner with Commercial Operations leadership to drive planning, forecasting, and performance reporting. Reporting to the Segment Controller, you will oversee financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making and profitability. This role manages a small team of Financial Analysts, while collaborating with finance leaders and senior management across all business units to provide insights and influence key FP&A decisions.Location:On-site in Cambridge, OntarioYour Day to Day as Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Partner with executive leadership and finance teams to deliver accurate forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
- Lead the development of predictive financial models, tools, and systems to improve reporting, insights, and decision-making.
- Analyze historical and current data to identify trends, explain variances, and provide recommendations on investments, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance.
- Support strategic planning and special projects through quantitative analysis and data-driven insights.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive efficiencies, enhance performance, and strengthen financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
- A minimum of 15 years of professional and leadership experience.
- Prior experience leading key FP&A functions.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills.
- Proficient knowledge of US GAAP.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong financial modeling skills, along with understanding of financial reporting and cash flow information.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and outside parties to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
- Experience with financial planning/reporting tools (Hyperion, SAP BPC, OneStream).
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)
