We are WSPThe OpportunityBuild the Future with UsAs an Early Career Consultant - IT Infrastructure, you'll be part of WSP's Ontario Technology team, supporting the delivery of secure, complex IT infrastructure projects from concept through completion. This role offers a strong foundation in consulting while contributing to projects that enable safe, resilient, and future-ready environments for our clients and communities.Your Impact
  • Support IT infrastructure consulting services, including cabling infrastructure, network systems, and technology systems design.
  • Assist with contract administration activities related to IT infrastructure and technology systems.
  • Contribute to physical IT infrastructure audits and technical assessments.
  • Support projects through all phases including concept design, schematic design, detailed design, construction documentation, tender review, construction administration, and close-out.
  • Implement design mark-ups into Revit and/or AutoCAD drawings.
  • Prepare professional, client-facing technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
  • Participate in technical and project meetings with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the local and broader Building Technologies team and other WSP disciplines.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Foundational experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 Security Clearance.
  • Availability to work standard business hours with flexibility for occasional overtime.
  • Ability to report to a home office location a minimum of three days per week.
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel as required.
