Brief Description:Our employer is a leading Canadian distributor of laboratory products, instruments, reagents, and consumables.They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Specialist to join their growing Customer Service team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, supporting internal teams, and ensuring the smooth flow of data across systems. The ideal candidate can also offer assistance to customers from a technical perspective.Job Function:
- Enter a wide variety of customer orders into the company's data entry system, ensuring accuracy and attention to the unique details of each order
- Provide technical support to customers via phone/email, as necessary
- Generate customer quotations upon request from the sales team
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering prompt and professional communication
- Provide support to the Accounts Receivable team with invoicing, payment processing, and related tasks
Job Requirement:
- A scientific background and experience within the same, or similar, industry is an asset
- Previous data entry experience is an asset but not required
- Familiarity with SAP is an asset
- Proficiency with computers; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Strong capability in working under pressure while maintaining high performance and attention to detail
- Strong motivation, energy, and a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (French is an asset, but not required)
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
