
Bilingual Marketing Specialist

- Support the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing strategies and multi-channel media plans—including print, digital, radio, and out-of-home—that drive customer acquisition, increase brand awareness, and support Porter Airlines’ revenue goals across all markets.
- Create campaign roadmaps and lead cross-functional execution, ensuring alignment with corporate brand priorities and stakeholder buy-in.
- Establish campaign KPIs and scorecards, tracking campaign performance and ROI/ROE metrics to guide optimization strategies.
- Provide post-campaign reports and actionable insights to internal teams and external partners.
- Analyze internal and market data to inform campaign segmentation, targeting, and creative direction.
- Develop and support best in class relationships with inside teams and outside organizations to support organizational objectives.
- Monitor and report on competitor brand activity and alert the various teams on innovative industry news by creating overviews: identify, evaluate, recommend
- Plan and execute sponsorships and related marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility and support strategic objectives.
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with creative and content teams to ensure high-quality execution across all touchpoints.
- Serve as a strategic liaison between Marketing, Network Planning, Revenue Management, Legal, Sales, Commercial Services, and other departments.
- Support the Marketing team by QAing and reviewing marketing assets and initiatives to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Project Manager to support the creation and distribution of marketing content across various channels, such as the website, social media, email campaigns, and print marketing materials.
- Covers for the Marketing Project Manager
- Actively engage in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations while promoting and adhering to the Company Safety Policy.
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or similar strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in consumer marketing and/or advertising, with experience in an agency setting preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience developing multi-channel online and offline advertising strategies and campaigns including print and digital media, email and web site marketing.
- Experience in B2C marketing in the Montreal area strongly preferred.
- Successful work experience coordinating the efforts of multiple peers, superiors and members of diverse teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven production environment.
- Ability to solve complex problems with keen organizational instincts and political savvy. Must have a passion for exceptional work quality and a strong attention to detail.
- Experience negotiating and successfully moving to agreement on business agreements for win-win benefits.
- Bilingual in French and English required
