This role focuses on improving equipment performance, reducing downtime, and enhancing product quality through technical solutions and process improvements. The Manufacturing Technician works closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing systems are running efficiently.Responsibility
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing processes, including troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment or process issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements that increase production efficiency and product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on manufacturing equipment to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
  • Analyze production data and provide recommendations for process enhancements, material usage, and equipment modifications.
  • Participate in new equipment installations, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and integration into existing production systems.
  • Assist in the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs, ensuring all machinery and systems are functioning optimally.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data collection, analysis, and implementation of solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Work with production teams to identify challenges and provide technical solutions to minimize disruptions and maximize output.
Academic/Educational Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related technical field.
Required Skills/Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or manufacturing technician role, preferably in an automotive or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, and process optimization.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work with engineers and cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
