- Advise cross-functional teams on compliance with privacy, marketing and AI laws and regulations, including by drafting templates and playbooks
- Review and negotiate privacy terms in client and vendor contracts
- Research privacy and technology legal, regulatory, enforcement, and litigation trends, and provide updates on how these developments impact our organization
- Complete Privacy Risk Assessments for new internal and client-facing offerings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, product, marketing and engineering, to embed privacy-by-design principles
- BA/BS degree
- JD degree
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a corporate environment or law firm, with exposure to advising on privacy, data, and/or technology matters
- Experience conducting legal research and producing summaries and guidance notes for different audiences
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness and ability to work independently to accomplish assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to work within a matrix environment, managing relationships with different business stakeholders and to problem-solve effectively across multiple geographies
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills

- Confidence to challenge assumptions and the intelligence, creativity and empathy to do so in a constructive and collaborative way
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, with a focus on privacy and security terms
- Good understanding of information technology systems and their security requirements
- Familiarity with AI and algorithmic decision-making tools, digital platforms, and online tracking technologies
- Any CIPP certification
