Reporting to the Senior Manager, Contracts, the Senior Contracts Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Worldwide Renewals and Sales organization. You’ll provide commercial and contractual expertise for new and renewing License, Support, SaaS, Partner, and OEM agreements, ensuring alignment with OpenText standards. As part of the Support Contracts team, you’ll collaborate across departments to advise on contract terms and drive successful business outcomes. This role requires strong analytical thinking, sound business judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Analyze complex situations and apply creative problem-solving to deliver results
- Lead resolution of contract-related queries, engaging stakeholders as needed
- Interpret and negotiate contractual clauses with existing and prospective customers
- Review deal structures, pricing, and commercial terms for revenue impact
- Draft and review support and renewal clauses in line with policy and standards
- Adapt priorities to meet evolving business needs
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives to improve contract processes
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and drive outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, contracting, or equivalent experience working with Sales, Renewals, or Procurement
- 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation and deal review, ideally in tech
- Familiarity with a wide range of agreements, including technology and partner contracts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with international, government, or regulated contracts is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment
- Multilingual skills are an asset but not required
